Fred Destin- Partner, Atlas Ventures

Fred Destin has been a Partner at Atlas Venture since 2004 where he focuses on technology-enabled services and consumer facing innovation. He helps build companies.

For Atlas, he has led a number of investments including DailyMotion (the European leader in video sharing), Seatwave (a large live events ticket marketplace), Zoopla (a disruptive online real estate play) and KDS (a SaaS travel company). Fred recently moved to the US and led his first US investment in New York adtech company AdSafe Media. In his ten years in venture, he also invested or served on the board of PriceMinister (acquired by Rakuten), Rainfinity (acquired by EMC), CapitalIQ (acquired by S&P) and Xerox-PARC spinoff Inxight Software (acquired by BOBJ).

He was previously an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs and also worked at JP Morgan in hybrid derivatives, but has never looked back since deciding to jump into innovation and entrepreneurship. He holds a Master of Finance (Magna Cum Laude) from Solvay Business School (University of Brussels) and has lived, studied and worked in London, Hong Kong, New York, Geneva, Belgium and now Boston.

Fred currently serves on the Boards of Atlas portfolio companies AdSafe Media, Dailymotion, EnglishCentral, Inspirational Stores, Kinvey, Plizy, Recorded Future, Seatwave, The Currency Cloud and Zoopla.
