Jean started her advertising career with Ogilvy Advertising in Taiwan, before going to the US to attain her Masters of Integrated Marketing Communications at Northwestern University.
In 1999, she founded wwwins Consulting in Taipei, expanding to Shanghai in 2002, Beijing in 2005, Hong Kong in 2007 and Guangzhou in 2008. wwwins became part of Isobar in July 2004 and now has over 280+ staff in the Greater China region. wwwins Isobar today is winning the honours and recognitions of numerous industry awards frequently all across Asia and the world. The team honoured the Creative Agency of the Year in 2009 China Interactive Awards, as well as named Digital Agency of the Year in ROI Festival since 2010.
Jean is now Isobar’s Asia Pacific CEO, driving innovation to accelerate Isobar’s Asia Pacific business growth and product excellence. Under her leadership, Isobar Asia-Pacific has won more than 70 new accounts and has also named Campaign Asia Pacific Digital Agency of the Year in 2011. She is also Isobar’s Global Chief Strategy Officer, driving Isobar’s strategic coherency around the world. Through its network in 34 markets, Isobar is a new breed of global agency with digital at its heart, creating solutions for brands that are idea-led, technologically-advanced, and media enabled. Isobar to-date has created successful brand stories for a number of blue chip clients including Nokia, Coca-Cola, Reebok, Bacardi and P&G.
Jean has been honoured for “Top 100 – the most influential of China Online Advertising” since 2007; in 2009, recognised by Advertising Age as 1 of 30 “Women to Watch—2009”; in 2010, recognised by Media Magazine as Asia’s top female talent.
She is also a frequent speaker at industry conferences, and often an award jury member for Greater China Click!Awards, China Interactive Awards, Effie Awards, Clio awards, Asian Marketing Effectiveness Awards and Spikes Asia.
