John Tweeddale- Chief Customer Experience Officer, Pearson Higher Education

John Tweeddale began his career in higher education directly after college as a Sales Representative for Pearson/Prentice Hall progressing through sales and sales management to become the Area Sales Manager for Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Western Tennessee.   He then served for eight years as the Director of Marketing for Pearson’s Engineering, Science, Math, and Computing group before accepting an assignment to work for Pearson in London as the Publishing Director for English-language products in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.  John returned to the U.S. in 2006 as the National Sales Manager  and recently began a new assignment as Chief Customer Experience Officer for Higher Education.  The Pearson Customer Experience team is focused on delivering outstanding experiences for our customers, especially with our digital products and services. We deliver on-boarding programs designed to ensure customer satisfaction, provide branded community engagement sites to create deeper loyalty and customer advocacy,  and ultimately deliver effectiveness/efficacy programs that demonstrate statistically valid outcomes when using our products and services.
